Despite the weather, some car boot sales were on. Here's what I got:
Most of the PlayStation games are copies and will be binned, but there are five originals in there.
The rest of the Amstrad stuff is from the same seller that almost all of my previous Amstrad stuff was purchased - this is apparently the last of it. Sort of...
I think there are about 800 disks there... Not only did I get software, I got piles of lovely documentation! I've not perused it all, but there looks to be some interesting stuff in there; most of it -- like the hardware -- has been well looked-after.
Here's what's in the leather bag thing: (more documentation)

There's an official Amstrad 3.5" floppy drive in a really nice carry case - here's a picture of the drive itself (it's very large, probably due to the fact that it contains a PSU):

It seems that I've managed to amass an impressive collection of Amstrad CPC stuff in just a few months - all at very little cost. And I'm so pushed for space, the CPC 6128 is set up next to my bed. :)
A final aside: we took a trip down the motorway to another car boot sale because we met a guy there last time who said he'd be bringing some retro computers this week. Sadly, it was closed by the time we arrived - probably because it had been raining for the previous hour. There's always next week. Maybe... The seller was and old guy who was apparently selling everything because he's "going to hospital". Let's hope we've not missed him.
where's the storage container then?
You seem to be amassing kit at an exponential rate. Will you soon have a warehouse outside your house for ancient hardware?
Re: where's the storage container then?
That's the plan. :)
